SEATTLE, WA, 7/17/06 - Amnis Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced
instrumentation for the life science research and diagnostics markets, announced today
the release of a major performance upgrade to its flagship ImageStream system for
imaging of cells in flow. Nicknamed ‘Turbo’, the upgrade is the result of a
comprehensive program of improvements to ImageStream hardware and software
systems. These improvements greatly expand the power of the technology, allowing

IMAGESTREAM® USED FOR PIONEERING ADVANCE IN AIDS RESEARCH

SEATTLE, WA, 7/25/06 - Amnis Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced instrumentation for the
life science research and diagnostics markets, announced today the publication of a major new
study in the field of AIDS research. The pioneering work, involving the development of a robust
murine model for long-term KSHV infection, was carried out by Dr. Dean Kedes and colleagues at the University of Virginia Health System. KSHV, a γ herpesvirus, is the etiologic agent of

AMNIS FINISHES SERIES C ROUND HEAVILY OVERSUBSCRIBED

SEATTLE, WA, 3/23/06 - Amnis Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced
instrumentation for the life science research and diagnostics markets, announced today
that it had closed its Series C round of financing. The round, originally targeted at $6
million, was significantly oversubscribed and closed with a total investment of $11
million. Joining the initial participants in the round were the CVF, LLC, the venture
capital arm of the Crown family of Chicago, and MedVenture Associates of Emeryville,
California. The Amnis Board of Directors will be joined by Richard Robb from CVF and
by Annette Campbell-White from MedVenture Associates. The Company will use the
proceeds from the completed Series C round to expand its commercial operations and to

AMNIS CORPORATION RECEIVES ISSUANCE OF THREE STRATEGIC PATENTS FROM THE US PATENT AND TRADEMARK OFFICE

SEATTLE, WA, 10/12/05 - Amnis Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced instrumentation for the life science research and diagnostics markets, announced today that it has received notification of USPTO issuance for three patents of strategic significance to the Company. These patents expand its intellectual property estate to 20 issued U.S. patents. The most recent patents, 6,934,408, 6,947,136, and 6,947,128 cover the Company’s planned expansions into massively multiplexed assays, high speed cell sorting, and clinical diagnostics. Read More.
